FEFANA and 12 other key European associations have urged European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to recognise the wider societal role of the livestock sector in the EU Strategic Dialogue on the future of Agriculture
In the joint letter to the EC President associations highlight the essential role of livestock in the circular economy and sustainability, converting human-inedible biomass into food. The letter urges the European Commission President to pay critical attention to their concerns and ensure a truly balanced outcome from the Strategic Dialogue.
The EU Strategic Dialogue on Agriculture should be more inclusive, ensuring contributions from these associations are considered.
